DAY 1 REPORT ON SHIKSHA SAPTAH

On 22nd July ShikshaSaptah was celebrated in the school various activities were conducted in this

Angles demonstrated by dance forms demonstration class by teachers taken an exhibition was organised with various activities on display related to various subjects parents were invited for celebrating the ShikshaSaptah

DAY 2 REPORT ON SHIKSHA SAPTAH

Day 2 of ShikshaSaptah was celebrated with Foundation literacy and numeracy

a seminar for the parents on the role of Home Support in FLN was conducted.Interactive session for teachers on innovative teaching methodology and joyful learning of FLN.

Maths club in order to foster a love for reading and learning numbers was displayed.Parents were invited to attend the Maths Club displays.Screening of FLN film in order to generate awareness among the masses for the importance of FLN

DAY 3 REPORT ON SHIKSHA SAPTAH

On 24th July was celebrated with playing various indigenous sports and games. All traditional sports events were played by the students.

Outdoor sports could not be taken due to the rains. Indoor games included Kana Muttibindima, Nondi, Sankali, Hopscotch, Poshampa, VishAmrut, Hoop rolling, Naukathie kata, Ashtachamma, rope skipping, Moksha patam, Gutle, Pandiattam, Cheeljapatta, were some game played.

Parents were invited and they also participated in the games reliving their childhood memories.

DAY 4 CULTURAL DAY CELEBRATION

On 25th July 2024 Cultural Day was celebrated in accordance to the ShikshaSaptah.Art, drawing, craft works were prepared for the students showcasing their creativity. Warli art, Madhubani, Mandana Art forms were prepared by the students.

Cultural and Folk dance forms like Ghoomar, Sikkim’s folk dance, Koli dance were presented wherein students came dressed up in colorful attires.Musical presentation included gondhal, devotional songs, sindhi folksong were some to name

A skit on “ Unity in diversity” was enacted to show the diverse culture, traditions.Food items of various states like Idli sambar, paratha,dhokla, chilla, momos, sheer kurma etc. were displayed.

A cultural quiz conducted with audio visual rounds.

Parents and Community members invited to attend the various display of dance, music, art and craft, food items, some Parents also presented their skills of dance and playing instruments.Students of secondary prepared few lines in the various languages of India and presented before the audience.

Day 5 Skilling an Digital Initiative

Day 5 of Shiksa Saptah dedicated to skills and digital in initiatives. Various activities related to programming, presentation food and nutrition, first aid training to the students ,sewing skills and hair and beauty care were certain activities.

Parents and community members were invited to attend the nutrition stalls.

DAY 6 REPORT OF SHIKSHA SAPTAH

On 27th July Eco Club for Mission LIFE was organized. As there is continuous rainfall the activities conducted were conducted indoors and very few taken on the ground.

Various activities like :

#Plant4Mother initiative # was conducted where Mother’s planted saplings along with their ward. Placards with the name of mother and child were displayed.

DAY 7 REPORT

On 28th July 2024 Community involvement day was organized in accordance with the SHIKSHA Saptah. As there is continuous rainfall certain activities could not be conducted.Vidyanjali the School volunteer program community members, parents, teachers became a member of this by joining the Vidyanjali portal under the “Volunteer BanoAbhiyan “.Names of active volunteers was displayed on the “Wall of Fame/Notice Board ” in School.

Yoga Day

On 21 June 2024, International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and teachers at Sanskar vidya sagar school, (Dighori branch) with moments of serene reflection and spirited movement.

Students of grade IX demonstrated various yoga asanas.Warm up exercises were taken and all the students and teachers performed sitting and standing asana.Importance of these were explained simultaneously by the Yoga teacher Mr. Sidharth Khare. From breathing exercises to calming stretches,our students embraces the transformative power of yoga,fostering not just physical well-being but also nurturing mindfulness and unity among us all.

It’s a day of inner peace and renewed energy.



Van Mahotsav Day celebration

Our School initiated the celebration of Van Mahotsav week on 6th July 2024 with great enthusiasm. Studentsof grade1 to 9th showed their love towards plants by participating in plantation drive and various activities like Slogan writing, postermaking, Essay writing competition. A little step taken by the school will help the students to develop a sense of responsibility, care , empathy and love towards nature. To promote bond between mother and child as proposed by our honourable Prime Minister under the campaign .‘EkPaudhaMaakeNaam.Students and their Mothersactively participated inspite of the rains which did not lower their spirit .

Student council -A Voice for Students

“The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow.”The feeling of democracy,fundamental rights, dignity,fundamental duties could not keep Sanskarians away from the Elections for Student Council Elections for the session 2024-25. The day of 3rd August 2024 ,filled Svs premises with political environment as students moved through different stages and processes similar to real-life political elections. Interested students first register themselves as candidates for the election. To earn the voters’ interest, they learn a lot about the effectiveness of campaigning and strategies that work best. Each student gets to vote for a candidate running for a specific post. Students have to get their names in the voters list verified before casting their vote. Student council election encouraged students to be good sailors while cruising through the ocean of life.

Report on Rakhi Making competition “Anokhi Rakhi”

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers & sisters.With the view to celebrate the occasion and to enhance creativity among the students , Sanskar Vidya Sagar, Dighori branch organized Rakhi making competition on 16th July 2024.The competition started at 9:30 a.m.The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal.

Students of 3rd,4th and 5th standard participated in the competition and made colorful Rakhi’s. The event was started with warm welcome of judges, teachers & participants. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent. They used decorative threads,stars, mirrors ,pearls, matchsticks and flowers for making beautiful Rakhis.

Kargil Vijay Diwas: Valour Unmatched, Peace Unwavering.”

This slogan on Kargil Vijay Diwas highlights the unmatched bravery of the soldiers during the war while emphasising the nation’s unwavering commitment to peace in May 1999. We at SVS premises ,celebrated this day with a heartfelt respect towards our nation saviour “The great soldiers” who are never off duties on July 26 ,2024 by showing documentary Of great warriors and heroes like Capt.Vikram Batra and Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena to grade 6 to 9. ‘Poster Making Activity’ with the theme “Kargil Vijay Diwas” was also conducted for the students of grade 7 and they depicted the struggle of our soldiers through their painting ,drawing ,sketching skills . Kargil Vijay Diwas in 2024 marking the 25th anniversary of India’s victory in the Kargil War made our students realise territorial integrity ,peace and unity.
